In a very candid, wide-ranging interview, the top military commander in the Middle East, Central Asia and the Horn of Africa discusses conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus also talks about interference from Iran and Syria, and describes the nature of our enemy.

Hugh started the hour out discussing the impact of Oliver Stone’s new movie, WTC. Hugh saw it this weekend, and was very impressed. Listeners had mixed reactions.
Hugh covered the news of the day, and was joined by write-in Congressional candidate to replace Tom Delay, Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, House Rules Committee Chairman David Dreier, and Yoni Tidi on the growing anger in Israel at the Olmert administration.
This was was a mix between the callers, and audio of the day, including the president’s press conference, CNN’s Jack Cafferty confirming the assumption he’s the most clueless political analyst on television, Oliver Stone’s thinking process in making WTC, and Chris Matthews claiming how independent he thinks he is.
