Fred Barnes and Morton Kondracke, Fox News Channel’s Beltway Boys started out the hour with the political news of the week, followed by Kudlow & Co.’s Larry Kudlow. Colorado Congressman and candidate for governor, Bob Beauprez, also stopped by, as did California Congressman John Campbell.
Atlantic monthly columnist and author of Imperial Grunts, Robert Kaplan started the hour with Hugh discussing his embeds with the U.S. military around the globe this year. Ohio Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate, Ken Blackwell, and Yoni Tidi also were guests this hour.

After a rant about no water bottles in the restricted area in airports, Frank Gaffney from the Center For Security Policy joined Hugh with a very disturbing development from CNBC, who de-booked him at the request of the CAIR people who didn’t want to debate him. Also in this hour, James Lileks weighed in on the week’s events.
