Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh continues from atop the Spin Room at the Reagan Library, home of the first GOP presidential debate, and is joined by former Missouri Senator Jim Talent, BBC journalist Justin Webb, and National Review’s Byron York.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – As Hugh continues from the GOP presidential debate at the Reagan Library, he is joined by Fox News Channel’s top political reporter, Carl Cameron, and then is ambushed on-air by documentary film maker Chuck Workman. As the hour continued, Hugh turned the tables on Chuck.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh discusses the veto by President Bush regarding the supplemental appropriations bill, and has little good to say about George Tenet’s new book. John Hinderacker talks about Powerline’s new candidate forum.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh discusses the bad decision by the Army to ban mil-bloggers, and discusses Israeli politics, and the freefall in the popularity of the Olmert government with New York Post columnist John Podhoretz.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh gets an update from Baghdad on how the country’s police forces and criminal justice system are being stood up by Brigadier General David Phillips. Later in the hour, Hugh takes calls about the Army’s decision to end mil-bloggers.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh spends the hour talking about the war, both in Iraq and here amongst the political class in Washington with military historian and classicist Victor Davis Hanson.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh discusses his Hannity and Colmes appearance last night, then talks politics with Real Clear Politics’ John McIntyre.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh continues to look at the controversial speculation from University of Chicago law professor Geoffrey Stone that the five Supreme Court justices’ Catholicism may have played a role in their recent partial birth abortion decision. Later in the hour, America’s professor, David Allen White, brings us a little known Shakespeare play that is turning heads in Washington, D.C. right now.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh covers the national news of the day, bot nothing more important than Brady Quinn being drafted by the Browns.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh continues his dissection of what ails the newspaper industry with James Lileks, the inappropriateness of ABC’s coverage of the DC madame story, and previews the upcoming GOP presidential debate with The Politico’s Jim VandeHei.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh discusses the recent numbers showing the loss of subscribers of many of the major daily newspapers in the nation, and talks with veteran newspaper columnist James Lileks about what ails the papers, and what steps they need to take to be able to compete in today’s world.
