After a rant about no water bottles in the restricted area in airports, Frank Gaffney from the Center For Security Policy joined Hugh with a very disturbing development from CNBC, who de-booked him at the request of the CAIR people who didn’t want to debate him. Also in this hour, James Lileks weighed in on the week’s events.

Later in the hour, Jed discussed the idea of textbook publishers selling advertising space to cut costs of books to students with the listeners.

Hugh Hewitt Show – 8/16/06 – Hour 1

Guest host Jed Babbin wrapped up Hewitt vacation week with a very long rant, including lots of seminar callers from Democrats pretending to be Republicans, about the Der Spiegel interview conducted with former President Jimmy Carter.
