Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh spent the first half hour with Los Angeles Times media critic Tim Rutten about the collapse of the Times, talked political news of the day with Roger Simon from the Politico, and talked with Victor Davis Hanson on why the Brits have gone so soft regarding Iran.

Hewitt: Hour 1 – Matt Lewis from Townhall.com recounts his interview with McCain campaign officials who deny the account told by John Kerry that McCain was ready to flip parties. Later in the hour, Congressman Duncan Hunter talks about his own presidential aspirations.
