Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh begins the hour with Columnist to the World, Mark Steyn, and continues with callers about his overwhelming disgust at the new immigration deal struck in the United States Senate.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh continues to take calls from listeners to weigh in.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Immigration is still the topic with House Armed Services member, author of the fence measure last year and presidential candidate Duncan Hunter, GOP Senate negotiator Jon Kyl, and humorist and columnist James Lileks.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh continues Yellowstone week with USGS volcano expert Robert Christiansen, and dives back into the immigration morass with blogger Mickey Kaus.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh gets post-South Carolina debate reaction from Mitt Romney, and then gets leaked the new immigration bill bullet points from the Senate GOP, and takes lots of calls reacting to it.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh talks with Focus on the Family founder James Dobson about the passing of Jerry Falwell and the Democrats’ attempt to reintroduce the Fairness Doctrine and lobbying reform, and then speaks with Erwin and John over the legality of the Fairness Doctrine and the new immigration deal that’s about to be struck.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh remembers Dr. Jerry Falwell on his passing at the age of 73, and then talks politics with the oldest son of Mitt Romney, Tagg, and South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint on the debate being held in his state, and important comments on the potential resurrection of the Fairness Doctrine.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh continues Yellowstone week with a conversation with University of Utah geology professor and Yellowstone tectonologist Robert Smith, and gets a preview of the South Carolina GOP debate from Politico’s Jonathan Martin.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh talks with longtime associate and friend of Jerry Falwell about his passing today, and replays interviews with Tagg Romney and Jim DeMint.
