Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh continues to field calls on the UCI decision to fire Erwin Chemerinsky from a contractual commitment to run the new law school on ideological grounds.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh spends the anniversary of 9/11 this hour with Norman Podhoretz, author of the new book World War IV.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh speaks with Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell over the Democrats’ refusal to denounce the MoveOn.org ad in the New York Times calling General Petraeus essentially a traitor. Later in the hour, Hugh makes listeners listen to Barbara Boxer lecture the General in today’s hearing.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh spends the hour with The Looming Tower author Lawrence Wright on where al Qaeda is now compared to six years ago when they attacked on U.S. soil.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh continues to react to the opening testimony today of David Petraeus to the House of Representatives, and then talks to House Rules Commitee ranking member David Dreier about the outrageous full page ad in the New York Times slandering David Petraeus by MoveOn.org.
Hewitt: Hour 3 – Hugh concludes playing the David Petraeus testimony in the House today, and some of the nonsense from the Democrats he had to face, most notably by Bob Wexler of Florida and Loretta Sanchez of California.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh tracks the entire opening statement by General David Petraeus as he informs the House of Representatives on the conditions on the ground in Iraq.
Hewitt: Hour 1 – Hugh reads the very disturbing and often times incoherent ramblings of the world’s most wanted madman, Osama bin Laden.
Hewitt: Hour 2 – Hugh talks to Fred and Mort about the OBL transcript and the political news of the week, and talks with Larry Kudlow about the jobs report announced today, and expected Fed action next week to ease the credit crunch.
