What comes first- the chicken or the egg?

I’ve read series out of sequence and found almost no problems. Sure, reading the book after the wife’s death before the book that shows her dying is awkward, but that is hardly enough to worry about.

Sheesh, it is Mitch Rapp after all. You know this is some serious stuff during the book and an almost death experience in the past few pages which he always gets away, so, a little out of sequence is no biggie.
